Obituary
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear father, Val Redner at Andy’s House–Hospice Muskoka on February 16, 2023 at the age of 74. Val was the much loved husband of Gloria Redner who predeceased him on December 27, 2021. Beloved father of Sam Redner (Louisa Fenner), Daniel Redner (Miranda), Rhonda Libby (Peter Malek), Sarah Laferriere (Carl), and stepfather of Dwight Russon. Loving grandfather to Kaitlen, Cameron, Molly, Gavin, Erica, Andrew, Patrick, Noah, Jonah, and Eli.
Predeceased by his parents Earl & Merle (Ball) Redner, and dear brother of the late Bernice Fader (late Claude), the late Joan Cooper (Basle), and the late Glenda Hutchings (late Garf). Val will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Andy’s House for their dedicated care during his stay in hospice, and, to the ministry team and congregation of The Salvation Army South Muskoka Ministries for their continued coverage in prayer, visitations, and provision of meals to Val while in hospice.
In keeping with Val’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes commingled with those of Gloria’s.
