It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lee Daniel (Tommy) Graham at his home in Maxwell, NB on April 22, 2024 at the age of 87.
He was born August 26, 1936 to Frank and Freda (Watson) Graham at his grandfather’s place in Maxwell, NB.
His «best kids ever» Beverly (Ken) Crouse of Rockyford, AB and Lori Graham of McKenzie Corner, NB will greatly miss him.
As well as his daughters, he is survived by three grandchildren, Beth (Sean) George, of Edmonton, AB, Christopher Miller of Rocky Mountain House, AB and Meghan MacLean of Fredericton, NB.
His great grandchildren are Austin Harnish, Tyrone George, Jarmel George, Jeremiah George and Isaiah George with one great, great grandchild Aurora Harnish.
He is also survived by his sister Audrey (Clifford) Smith of Lincoln Rd., Fredericton, NB and his sisters-in-law Jocelyn Graham of Elmwood, NB and Judy Graham of Woodstock, NB.
His niece and nephews include Catherine Hogan, Paul Graham, Daryl (Stacie)Graham and great nieces Ashley Hogan, Carlie Hogan, Heidi Hogan and Sydnee Graham.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Marion Graham and two brothers James Graham and Charles Graham.
As a younger man he worked on the NB railroad laying tracks as a labourer. In 1966 he started working for the Department of Natural Resources at the fire watch tower in Canterbury, NB and became a game warden and firefighter for approximately twenty years.
He enjoyed his family, church, playing the guitar, fishing, organic gardening, mechanics and hockey.
He will be cremated and visitation will take place: Monday April 29, 2024 from 3-6pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road in Jacksonville NB, with graveside service taking place at a later date.
If so desired donations can be made to the Maxwell Cemetery or Calvary Pentecostal Church in Woodstock.
The family would like to extend thanks to the services of the RCMP, Ambulance and the Carleton Funeral Home for their kind and courteous care.
