Thomas Richard Osborne 77, passed away on October 1, 2024 at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. Born on July 29, 1947, Thomas dedicated 30 years of his life serving as a constable with the Gananoque Police Service, where his role as a friend and mentor left a profound impact on his colleagues. Thomas was kind-hearted man whose legacy will continue through the many lives he touched. He was deeply committed to his family, cherishing moments spent playing cards with his grandchildren, Riley, Olivia and Kaiden (Elizabeth). His love and guidance will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann (Kidd), his daughter Laurie (Andrew), son Steven, brother Robert (Elaine), William, sister Marie Johnston (Norris), sister in law Ann, and several nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his infant son Scott, parents Leslie and Annabelle Osborne, sister Barbara Beckstead and brother Ronald Osborne. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A small, private family service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to honor Thomas’s memory are invited to make contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society. His memory and legacy will continue to inspire and influence, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew him.
