It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Suzanne Margaret Kilfoy of Shoal Point, Marystown announces her passing. Suzanne passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin with her husband Richard by her side on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband of 33 years; Richard; children, Laura Clarke (Michael) of St. John’s and Rene Clarke-Kilfoy of St. John’s; step-children, Frank Kilfoy of Alberta, Wanda Walsh (John) of Ontario, Russell Kilfoy (Rosemary) of Alberta; 8 grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Jonathan, Russell Jr, Jasmine, Christopher, Chanelle, Nicole; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Tom Rogers of Ontario, John Kilfoy of Beau Bois, Cecil Kilfoy of St. John’s, Offrow Kilfoy of Little Bay, Andrew Kilfoy (Pearl Mitchell) of Marystown, Jerome Kilfoy (Lucy) of Lewin’s Cove, Ernie Kilfoy (Michelle) of Shoal Point; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Jackman (Clyde) of Baine Harbour, Bernadette Edwards (George) of Nova Scotia, Theresa Bugden (Roy) of Lewin’s Cove; many nieces and nephews in New Brunswick, Ontario and British Columbia; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. She will be missed terribly.
Suzanne was predeceased by her children, Rosie Eleanor Kilfoy and Jason Michael Clarke; step-children, Richard Kilfoy and Shawn Kilfoy; granddaughter Jillian Walsh; parents, Victor & Eleanor Mitchell; parents-in-law, Andrew & Rosanna Kilfoy; brother Geroge Mitchell (Barb); sisters, Mary Lemire (Harry), Vicki Rogers, Sally Little (Morie); brothers-in-law, Tom Kilfoy (Georgina); sisters-in-law, Joan Kilfoy, Hilda Kilfoy, Cathy Kilfoy, Theresa Kilfoy.
In keep with Suzanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and burial to take place at the time for her husband’s passing.
