Our dear father and grandfather Soan Lien passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 73. Soan is remembered by his loving wife of 48 years, Ngan Thi Kim, his three children, Trien, Quan (Chris), and Patrick (Mabelyn), and his three grandchildren, Kiana, Kobe, and Ozzie.
Dad was brave, dedicated, loving, smart, and funny, who devoted his entire life to his family. He had many dear family and friends far and wide, and was loved by many. Dad was the epitome of family virtue, and incredible work ethic. He sacrificed and worked tirelessly to provide for his family, despite many obstacles, to ensure that we had a safe, happy, and prosperous future. He demonstrated love, laughter, patience, and generosity every day to his beloved grandchildren, who loved him very much in return. Food was Dad’s love language. Love was the motivation behind everything Dad said and did.
Thank you, Ba. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for loving us, unconditionally. You’re our hero, Dad. We will love you forever and we will miss you always.

Saturday, Feb 11 (Prayers & Burial)
· 9 am to 10 am – Prayers (Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St.)
· 10 am to 10:30 am (Travel from Bardal to Glen Lawn Cemetery)
· 10:30 am (Burial at Glen Lawn Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd)
