In Loving memory of Simone Alice Boivin (née Desloges) who passed away on March 26th, 2024, at the tender age of 97.
Survived by her sisters Marie Raymond (Isidore predeceased) of Sudbury and Diane Fortin (Vital) of Calgary. Predeceased by her brothers Lionel, Joseph (Louise of Sudbury), Sylvio (Yvette), Gérard (Hélène of Hamilton) and sister Albertine Pilon (late Sylvio).
Daughter of the late Esdras Desloges and the late Florence (Levesque), and the late Dolorès (née Jean).
Beloved mother of Shirley (Stan), Nancy (Bernard) both from Azilda, Anne (Denis) from Peterborough and Edmond “Jack” (Marion) from Smiths Falls, predeceased by her daughters Claire Fulin (late Don) (Luciano Parisotto), Florence and her son Joe. Mom was blessed with five generations of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the angels on the 6th floor of Extendicare York for caring for Mom over the last 9 yrs.
Mom was best at being a homemaker and caregiver. Later in life, she became a PSW, working for 14 years at Garson Manor Nursing Home.
Arrangements entrusted to Cooperative Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
