Parcourez la nécrologie de Shirley Madelene Smith 1942 2024 résidant dans la province Nouveau-Brunswick pour le détail des funérailles
With great sadness,
the family of Shirley Madelene Smith (Cliff), announce her passing on
October 21, 2024, at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital,
she was 82 years old. Shirley was born on May 23, 1942, in Fredericton
NB to her late parents, Roy and Madelene (Oliver)
Cliff.
Shirley married the
love of her life, the late Eugene Smith and they raised three
much-loved children: Jeff (Karin) of Switzerland, Greg (Katherine) of
Fredericton and Marsha (Stephen) Hayes of Fredericton. As
much as Shirley loved her own children, she was so proud of, and had a
special bond with her eight grandchildren, Billy, Joshua, Justin, Cole
(Tenaja), Michael (Ally), Faith, Jessica (Coleman) and Abby; she had
one great-grandson, Jordan Billings whom she truly adored.
Also left to mourn Shirley’s passing is her only brother,
Herb Cliff.
Shirley worked for
many years at Maritime Law Book where she earned the respect and
friendship of her co-workers and later at KFC at the Regent Mall where
she happily greeted her customers with a genuine smile. When she had
any free time, she loved to knit to keep herself busy. While
the family are very sad to see her go, they also know that she is
happy to be reunited in heaven with her husband Eugene whom she has
missed for so many years after his
death.
Visitation will be
held on Friday October 25, 2024, from 12-1 pm at Bishop’s
Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB. The
funeral service will begin at 1pm with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating.
An interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland, NB, will follow
the funeral service. If you are unable to attend the Funeral, it will
be livestreamed and can be accessed through her
