Shirley Arlow (nee Hamelin) passed away peacefully on 21 November 2023 in Ottawa Ontario.
She is predeceased by her sisters Helen, Mildred, Kathleen and her brother Clarence. She is survived by her loving sister Dolores Noonan, by her son, Stephen Coucke, and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Our sincere thanks to the people and staff of The Westwood retirement home where Shirley lived very happily in her last few years. We also very much appreciated the medical staff at Ottawa Civic Hospital and West End Villa for their compassionate care as she neared the end of her journey.
A graveside service will be held at St Paul’s Cemetery in Aylmer, Quebec at a later date.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
