Sheila Linton
1946-2024
Following a lengthy illness, Sheila Louise Linton of Three Brooks, NB,
passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 5,
2024.
Sheila was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on January 6, 1946. She was the
daughter of the late Ralph and Aleene (White) Green. Sheila leaves
behind her husband, William «Bill» Linton; her daughter,
Tanya Harding of Plaster Rock, NB; her son, Troy Michaud of Moncton,
NB; her grandchildren, Emily Shirley (Andrew), Blair Michaud, Kristen
Michaud, Kolten Michaud, and Braxton Harding (Makayla); her great
grandchildren, Denver and McKinley Harding, Bryson, Benson, and Baylor
Shirley; her sisters, Sharon Price of Woodstock, NB, and Donna
Virtanen of Caribou, ME; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents; her son, Todd Michaud; her
sisters, Agnes Pelletier, Bertha Morin, Sybil Oliver, Uldene Green,
Kathleen Wark, Doris Reed, Brenda Simpson, Glenna Andersen, and Ruby
Robertson; her brothers, Frederick Sr., Frederick Jr., Ralph, Redorn,
Carroll, and Charles Green.
Sheila’s passion was her family. Grandchildren and great grandchildren
were her angels. She was immaculate homemaker in everyway. The words
«This is like a show home» have been uttered more than once
from contractors who would come to do installations.
Her second passion was working as a server at one of the restaurants
she and her husband Bill owned. Often showing empathy to those
enduring some misfortune, she would do all in her means to lighten
their load.
Special thanks to Dr. Barry Wecker for his excellent care and
friendship, as well as the nurses at the Perth Hospital in both the ER
and Palliative Care.
Respecting Sheila’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 3
pm from Linton Corner Cemetery. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Linton Corner Cemetery
or the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
