Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Saturday July 29, 2023 with her husband by her side, Sheila Elizabeth Ann (Langdon) Camp. Sheila was 75 years of age. Sheila is predeceased by her father Kenneth Langdon; mother Margaret (Clark) Langdon; brother Kenneth Langdon Jr. and sister Catherine Langdon; also parents-in-law Everett and Lila Camp; and brother-in- law Gordon Paynter.
Leaving to morn her passing are brothers Ian (Joan) Langdon, Desmond (Susan) Langdon; and sister-in-law Catherine Paynter; and a number of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Sheila left Newfoundland at an early age to move to Ontario. There she met the love of her life, Terry. They were married in 1985 and did everything together. A self taught seamstress, making many of her own clothes, an accomplished baker and cake decorator. Sheila enjoyed designing greeting cards on the computer and writing poetry before she suffered a devastating stoke in 2009 which confined her to a wheelchair. Sheila moved to back Botwood in 2011 with Terry, were he cared for all her needs until his own health declined. Sheila spend her last few years of her life at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre with Terry daily at her side. Terry and the family would like to express their gratitude for the compassion and care provided during this time by the staff.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held at the families’ request.
