«Billy» (Mosher) Borden – 83, of Port
Williams, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late
Irving and Marguerite (McCully) Mosher.
Billy
loved puzzles and reading, elephants and camping at Delap’s
Cove with her family. She thoroughly enjoyed trips to
Hennigar’s with her grandchildren and sharing corn twists.
She always called to sing Happy Birthday over the phone on your
birthday and was an exceptional mother and grandmother. She will be
dearly missed by all who knew and loved
her.
Billy is
survived by her children: son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Borden, North Alton;
daughter, Stacey Armstrong, Kentville; and daughter, Lisa Borden (Gabe
Schwartz), Caledon, ON; siblings, Sheila (Neil) Robarts and Glenn
(Heather) Mosher, both of Poplar Grove; grandchildren, Justlynn
Borden, Sus, NB; Trent Borden, North Alton; Chase Bryski,
Kentville; Colin Schwartz and Owen Schwartz, both of Caledon, ON;
close friend, Marsha Whitehouse, and many nieces, nephews, great
nieces and great nephews.
In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband,
David Borden (1973); second husband, Edwin «Teddy»
Chase (2003); and beloved granddaughter, Stephanie Borden
(2020).
Cremation has taken place. In keeping
with Billy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service. Donations in memory may be made to your local SPCA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
