Alex, age 55, passed away on August 14, 2024, leaving a legacy of love, conviction, and unwavering faith. As a proud bus driver, he took joy in meeting people each day on his routes, always ready to greet others. His regular customers often brought him small gifts of gratitude for his service.
For 31 years, Alex shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Tami, building a family rooted in love, support, and faith. He was a beloved father to four children, Aaron, Sarah, Christina and Anthony and a cherished “Pappa” to his grandchildren, who lit up his life.
Though he often bore a reflective and melancholic disposition, Alex was vocal in his stand against injustice. He had a way of speaking his mind with courage, inspiring others to do the same. A passionate advocate for fairness, he was never afraid to lend his voice to those who needed it. Socializing came naturally to him, and he formed genuine connections with many people in his life.
Above all, Alex loved God and lived his Catholic faith openly, promoting its teachings with compassion and joy. He participated in the life of the church actively and worked to enact change through the Knights of Columbus. Alex served as a beacon of God’s love, sharing it with others and strengthening the faith of those around him. Parishioners at the 7 am Mass on Sunday, knew Alex as the one who opened the door to the church and warmly greeted them.
In the midst of life’s trials, Alex continued to give to others, always hopeful that his faith would see him through. His passing is a poignant reminder of the silent struggles many face, even as they offer love and light to those around them.
While his family and friends grieve this profound loss, they find solace in knowing that Alex is now at peace, safe in the arms of Jesus. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as a testament to faith and courage.
