It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sannie Cubar, who departed from this world on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the age of 68. Sannie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
Sannie was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Cheryl, whose unwavering support and companionship enriched his life beyond measure. He also leaves behind his previous partner, Zaida, with whom he shared a special bond and countless cherished moments.
His children, Cherish (Ryan), Sannie Jr. (Julika), Lienryl-Jana, and Marisa-Julien, were the light of his life. Sannie’s love for them knew no bounds, and his guidance and wisdom will continue to shape their lives for years to come.
Sannie’s grandchildren, Austin and Teo, brought him immense joy and pride. He cherished every moment spent with them, watching them grow and thrive, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure through generations.
In his reunion with Heaven, Sannie is embraced by the loving arms of his parents, Vivencio and Carlina, who preceded him in death. Their spirits now soar together, watching over those they left behind with boundless love and eternal peace.
Sannie’s presence brought warmth and light to all who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Though we mourn his passing, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love that will continue to guide us through our grief.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, Tel-905-850-9500) on Thursday March 21, 2024 from 6-9pm and Friday March 22, 2024 from 4-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Drive, Maple, Ontario) on Saturday March 23, 2024 at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario).
