Suddenly on Saturday, December 16, 2023, Sandra Lee Wrightman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation and originally from Six Nations of Grand River passed away peacefully at the age of 61 surrounded by her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 30years; Whitney Wrightman and by her cherished sons, Christopher (Christina), Brett and Blair. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret Porter and dear sister of Patty (Al), Tina, Ronald (Sheila) and the late Bonnie and Reese. She will be fondly remembered by her many extended family, including aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. Community visitation will be held at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 2-6pm. Her funeral services will take place at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1pm. Burial at Highbanks Cemetery will follow.
