With great sorrow and grief, we regretfully announce that Samantha Lynn Holmes, age 45 (August 5, 1977), of Kingston, Ontario, passed away suddenly in her sleep on the morning of June 30th, 2023 after a long, hard fought battle with health issues. She is survived by her fiancé Jason smith and his daughters Emelia and Jocelyn, her sisters Vanessa, Hayley and Julie, her nieces and nephews Melissa, David, Simon, Kylah, Cory, Taylor, Olivia and Aidan, and her mother Susan. Predeceased by her father Adam Naborczyk, with whom she is reunited after many decades. Samantha was an extremely intelligent woman who worked diligently in the field of mental health and addictions for many years to help others in need. To be a friend of Samantha’s was a great gift to anyone who had the privilege. In addition to her infectious laugh, her genuine care and love for those in her life will be felt forever. She will be fondly remembered, missed and loved by all of those she interacted with during her life infinitely. The strongest woman that there was, those of us lucky enough to have had her in our lives have acquired that strength from her, to move forward and celebrate her life.
