It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sarah «Sadie» Reid of Marystown announces her passing. Sarah passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the age of 89.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, William Reid of Calgary, AB; daughters, Mary Blackmore (Howard) of Calgary, AB and Carol Ann Reid (Dave Norman) of Corner Brook; granddaughter, Sara Blackmore of Calgary, AB who was her pride and joy; brother, Tom Molloy (June) of Port Hawkesbury, NS; sister-in-law, Mercedes Molloy of Marystown; special friends, June Mayo and Paula Dober of Marystown; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband, William J. Reid; parents, Thomas & Margaret Molloy; sister, Veronica O’Keefe (John); and brothers, Michael Molloy (Theresa), Jerome Molloy and John Molloy.
In honoring her wishes cremation will take place.
A funeral mass and inurnment are being planned for Spring 2025.
