Aris
Hébert, 102, passed away at the Veterans Health Care
Centre, Moncton, on Saturday, January 21st,
2023. Born in Grande-Digue, he was the son of the late Jacob and
Philomème (Bourgeois) Hébert. He was the last
surviving member of his immediate family.
Aris was a World War
II veteran. He was a good and simple person who loved to walk in the
trails, had a good sense of humour and was a great Montreal Canadian
fan.
He is survived by his
five children: Rhéal of Moncton, Claire Cartmill (Chuck) of
Halifax NS, Nicole Gagnon (Roger) of Shediac Cape, Zoel (Pierrette) of
Shediac, and Maria Cormier (Gilles) of Shediac Bridge; five grand
children and nine great grand children.
He was predeceased by
his wife, Anita (2015) and brothers and sisters.
As per his request,
there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In memory of Aris, a
contribution to the Pépère Boîte
à lunch would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral
arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
