Peacefully, on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care Home, at age 94. Ruth (nee Brandon), beloved wife of the late Bruce Snooks of Cannington. Loving mother of Bea Snooks of Bexley, Charlotte (deceased) and her husband Dave Nicholson of Bolsover, and Barbara Snooks and her husband the late Peter Lytle of Cannington. Will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family of Ruth Snooks will receive friends at the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. A service to Celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Campbell officiating. Private interment Sunderland Cemetery.
If desired memorial donations may be made to Brock Community Food Bank (Cannington) or to Community Care Durham-Brock. Special thanks to the staff at Fenelon Court for the care that they gave Ruth. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
