Buchmeier, Ruth (nee MacGillivray)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved Mother and Grandmother, Ruth Noreen Buchmeier at the age of 86. On Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, she entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour.
Ruth was a resident of the Court at Laurelwood in Waterloo, and formerly of Lucknow.
She was predeceased by her best friend and husband of 57 years, Ray (2019). Survived by her loving, close knit family; mother to Carol and Bruce MacIntyre, adoring grandma to Janessa and Nathan Bauman, Jonathan and Rebecca MacIntyre. Also missed by five great-grandchildren who deeply loved their “G.G.” Blakely and Brooks Bauman; and Harrison, Sullivan and Duncan MacIntyre. Ruth is remembered by her brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her friends at the Court at Laurelwood.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment will take place in South Kinloss Presbyterian Cemetery, Lucknow.
