Roy Wesley Rogers of Somerville passed away at the Upper
River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Roy was
born August 13, 1949 and was the son of the late Maxwell and Dorothy
Rogers. He was also predeceased by two daughters, Kimberly Rogers and
Bobbi-Jo Rogers; sister, Marilyn Elliott; brother, Bobby
Rogers.
Roy is survived by his wife Carol Rennie-Rogers; stepson,
Adam Lee (Candace Butterfeld); step daughter, Deanna Lee;
grandchildren, Camden Lee, Grayson Lee, Shawn King, Hunter
Lee-Hamilton, Hannah Lee-Hamilton, Kayla Killcollins, Jake
Killcollins, Wesley, Michael, Dion; several great grandchildren;
brothers, Peter Rogers, Donnie Rogers, Ronnie Rogers (Norma); nieces
and nephews; and his beloved dog, Clyde.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High
Street, Hartland on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. The
funeral service will be on Friday, August 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. from the
Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Oral McAfee officiating. There
will be a private family interment in the Hillside Cemetery in
Rockland. If so desired, donations to the River Valley Cancer Support
