Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 after a short and hard-fought illness, Rosemary Barter at the age of 66 years.
Predeceased by: her parents Michael and Regina Ryan; parents-in-law Ernest and Rita Barter; sister Theresa Charlton; and brother-in-law Martin Barry.
Leaving to mourn: her loving husband Arthur Barter; siblings: Brendan Ryan (Betty Hutchings); Imelda (Daniel) Casteel; Michael Ryan; and Debbie (Jerry) Dunphy; and in-laws: Marjorie (Walt) Crewe, Eric (Maisie) Barter, Wayne (Frances) Barter, Edwin Barter, and Mark Charlton; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and many other relatives and friends; especially her neighbour and friend Mary Gallant who has been so supportive over the past few weeks.
Following her wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25th from 7-9 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 26th at 10:00 AM from St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street.
No flowers by request. Rosemary would have preferred something more practical like making a donation to a charity of your choice or doing something nice for someone.
