Parcourez la nécrologie de Rosemarie Regina Rosie Benoit 1960 2024 résidant dans la province Nova Scotia pour le détail des funérailles
Benoit,
Rosemarie Regina «Rosie», age 64, of Pomquet and formerly of
James River, Antigonish County, passed away on September 29, 2024, in
St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, following her
courageous battle with a brief illness.
Born in
Mississauga, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and
Madeline (MacLeod) MacDonald.
Rosie was a
devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She always
had her eyes open for a cardinal. She worked in food service
at StFX for 36 years, and she made many great connections along the
way. Rosie had the uncanny ability to serve a huge, hot
family dinner with no mess afterwards. She enjoyed reading, cooking,
baking, and knitting, and everyone always looked forward to their
«surprise» dishcloths at Christmas. But
Rosie’s happy place was in the Mustang beside
Charles. «Just drive.»
She is
survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles; children, Kris (Megan),
Barney’s River; Mindy (Marc) Chisholm, Troy; Andrew (Lani),
Squamish, BC; grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, Mackenzie, Hunter, Colton,
and Mika; and her siblings, Bobby (Dianne), Jackie, and
Nancy.
Predeceased
by her son, Michael Charles, and siblings, Marlene, Roxanne, Cecilia,
and Alexander.
A private
family service will be held and burial will be in St.
Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Josephs, at a later
date.
In Memoriam,
donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit)
appreciated.
Funeral
arrangements are under the direction of C.L. Curry Funeral Home,
