Peacefully at the Sunset Cove Retirement Residence, Long Sault on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Ronald James Hunt formerly of Montreal in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Claire Hunt (née Reilly). Loving father of Linda (Tommy), late Sandra (Steve), Rhonda (Gavin), Barbara (Brian), Ron (Christine) and Peggy Ann (Mike). He will be fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Hunt (née Cork) and by his siblings Bill (Betty), Doreen Neeson (Brendon) and Marion Canty (Denis). Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ronald a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
