Peacefully at Cassellholme in North Bay on Tuesday August 8, 2023. Ron, beloved husband of the late Edith Smith, was in his 87th year. Dear father of Doug Smith (Kim) and Tanya Gordon (Doug). Proud grandfather of Michael and Steven Smith and Sarah Gordon. Great grandfather of Kayla, Lyla, and Zoey Smith. Ron was the youngest of 11 children and most have predeceased him. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel in Sundridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
