With grace, dignity, and courage surrounded by her loving family in her ninety-first year on Friday April 5, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank and by Saul Gerson, her companion of many years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stan and Elaine Browman, Brenda and Eric Gralnick. Cherished grandmother (G. Rona) of Lauren Browman and Ko Currie, Adam Browman and Dana Shadeed; Tara Gralnick and Maayan Shvo, Daniel and Julie Gralnick, Franki Gralnick and Miles Herer. Proud great-grandmother (GG. Rona) of her precious Senna and Arlo. Loving sister and sister-in-law of David and Myrna Perlman; and sister-in-law of the late Donald and the late Ann Browman.
Rona was an exceptional individual who was loved and admired by all those whose lives she touched. She had a disposition that was always positive and upbeat, and faced life’s challenges with mental toughness and her classic sense of humour. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends.
Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home through Tuesday evening.
