Roger Wayne Fuss – age 80 of Knoxville, formerly of Hudson Falls, NY, passed away at his home on Friday, June 23, 2023. Roger was born on May 27, 1943 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Fred and Lillian (Haight) Fuss. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy for five years and served in Vietnam aboard the USS Zelima. Roger worked at Finch and Pruyn Paper Company in Glens Falls, NY until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, line dancing and spending time with his family.
Preceded in death brothers, Bill, Fred, Ed, Richard and Don Fuss; sisters, Peg Lohret, Shirley Collins and Lois Wildey; granddaughter, Marie Fuss; and nephew, Wayne Wildey.
Roger is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathy Hayes Fuss; sons, Todd (Patti) of Knoxville, TN, Chad (Cindy) Fuss of LaFollette, TN, Brian (Tavi) Fuss of Wellesley, Ma; daughter, Kimberly (John) Mackanics of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandsons, Tristan (Nneka) of Powell, TN, Stephen (Nikki), Andrew, Daniel, and Matthew Fuss of LaFollette; step grandchildren, Robert Hadwin of LaFollette and Samantha (Chang) Heo of Savannah, GA; two great grandsons, Easton Fuss of Knoxville and Legacy Fuss of Powell; sister, Carol Esner of Orlando, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
