Surrounded by his family, Robert “Bob” Rovazzi passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024. He leaves behind his loving family, including his wife of 47 years, Rosemarie, parents, Gino and Giulia, daughters and son-in-law, Liana and Alysia (Pasquale) and four grandsons, Leonardo, Alessandro, Matteo and Gianluca. Robert cherished family and faith above all else – and he was always happy listening to music or watching sports in any form possible. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2004, he had a progressive journey and approached each day with strength and courage. Resting at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home in Thornhill, visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service and burial will also be held at Holy Cross on Wednesday, June 12 at 1:30pm, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that a donation in memory of Robert be directed to the University Health Network Foundation, The Brain Campaign.
