On Monday, September 16, 2024, Robert (Bob) Baxter of Wainwright, passed away at his home at the age of 86 years.
Bob is survived by his three children: Pam (Brian) Goodwin of Wainwright, Alberta; Rob (Connie) Baxter of Wainwright, Alberta; and Patti (Rob) Lee of Amisk, Alberta. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Rebecca Goodwin (Jamie Steinborn) of Wainwright, Alberta, Michael (Holly) Wolfe of Springdale, Newfoundland, Christopher (Kelsey) Baxter of Whitecourt, Alberta, Kevin Wolfe (Cayla) of Edmonton, Alberta, Nicole Baxter (Jesse Cormack) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Nolan (Mackenzie) Goodwin of Wainwright, Alberta, Courtney Ukrainetz (Alex Andrews) of Chiliwack, British Columbia, Landon Ukrainetz (Hailey Randall) of Red Deer, Alberta, Colton (Dallas) Ukrainetz of Wainwright, Alberta, Mike (Tanya) Lee of Wainwright, Alberta, Karen (Fred) Devison of Ottawa, Ontario, as well as the great-grandchildren who were the lights of his life-Layla, Wren, Scarlett, Remi, Callahan, Levi, Amelia, Scout, Avery, Cooper, Hazel, Rylee, Smith, Logan, Jacob, Ethan, Jared, Alexis, Jaysa,Travis, and Ashton. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother Joe, sister Grace, sister in law Gail and sister in law Sharon, numerous nieces and nephews, and too many friends to count.
Bob was predeceased by his loving wife, Vivian; his parents John and Olga Baxter; his brother John, sister Bernadette, brother in law Jim, brother in law Neils, sister in law Maxine, Vivian’s parents, Frank and Annie Lay, brother in law George, and brother in law Bob.

A funeral service for Bob Baxter will be held Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Grace United Church in Wainwright at 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rotary Outdoor Park, through the Town of Wainwright, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
