With profound sadness we announce that Richard Phillip (Rick) Stone passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Peterborough on Sunday, January 14, 2024 following difficult month at the age of 68. Rick Stone, beloved husband and best friend of Faye (Plunkett), loving father of Kirk & Wanita and Craig & Nancy, devoted grandfather of Michael & Sarah, Kurtis & Zoe, Jason & Allison and Meghan and great grandfather of Lydia and Evelyn. Rick will be forever missed by his brothers, Roger, Barry and Elwood & Kate, by his many nieces and nephews and by all of the members of Faye’s family. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Stan and Betty (Kehoe) Stone. A native of Bancroft, Rick was employed for many years in the mining industry. His love of fishing, camping, hunting, woodworking and making maple syrup were all his passions.
