With heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of our beloved Richard who passed suddenly on May 11, 2024.
Richard is survived by his lifelong friend Joanne Tempelaar, his beloved dogs, Neenah, Chaos and Lyla. He is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth «Liz» Hutchison (nee Hulbig), his father Gerald David Hutchison and his beloved dog Thunder.
Richard was born May 31, 1986 in Hamilton and raised in Waterdown. Richard was a happy-go-lucky child, no matter what was going on. He enjoyed making people laugh and bringing together audiences to show off his many talents like yo-yoing alongside his animal sidekicks. After spending many of his childhood years in Waterdown, he moved to Muskoka.
Richard was a man of many talents, joys and hobbies. He absolutely loved to sing and perform. He was a true showman. He enjoyed being in theatre and playing many parts and characters. He was fond of all animals, especially his babies Neenah, Thunder, Chaos and Lyla. He looked at all of his friends and loved ones as his audience to bring out his hilarious jokes and beautiful voice. Everyone will remember the long night chats and singing Meatloaf and Elvis.
A special thank you to Kristen Cronkright for being there and giving support and care in his final months. Another thank you to the friends and his family that have gotten together at this time to bring his final encore.
Richard’s Celebration of Life will be held on June 1, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at Huntsville Bowl, 2A Cann Street, Brendale Square, Huntsville.
