It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Eli and the late Gilberte (née Guerin) Viau. Loving wife of the late Gerard Richard. Beloved mother to Denis Richard (Carole), Ivan Richard, Paul Richard (Sylvie), and Gilles Richard. Cherished grandmother to Mitch, Marc, Samantha, Alyssa, Andrea, Dillon, John, Ivan, Michael, and Mackenzie. Great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Réjeanne Alarie (late Maurice). Predeceased by her sisters Denise Lock (late Bill) and Lucille Ouellette (late Raymond). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Christ The King Church, 21 Ste Anne Rd, Sudbury, at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at McFarlane Cemetery.
