LAFLAMME, Raymond Leo – passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, August 13, 2023 in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Sue Taniwa. Loving father of Christopher (Jesseca). Cherished grandfather of Arriyah. Dear son of Leo and the late Anne Laflamme. Dear brother of Chris (Cindy) Laflamme, Simone (Wally) Hamm, Lisa (Todd) Turgeon and Joel (Mary) Laflamme. Brother-in-law of Sherry (Brian) LeRossignol. Ray will be lovingly remembered by his adopted brother Tim (Kim) Parker, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Helen and Benj Chernish. “All day Ray” had worked for many years at Hard Rock Paving then at Rankin Construction. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Fonthill Cemetery.
