1961-2024
Randall Gerald Monteith of Grafton passed away unexpectedly
on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in Grafton. He was born March 26,
1961 and was the son of the late Gerald and Shirley Monteith. Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Brent Monteith and a
niece Stacey Monteith Coles.
Randall is survived by his wife, Roxanne Monteith of Grafton;
daughters, Dianna Fraser (Chris) of Oak Bay, Melissa Foster (Matthew)
of Woodstock; grandchildren Jack Fraser, Tessa Fraser, Elias Foster,
Aubrey Foster, Mylah Foster; siblings, Jim Monteith (Rita), Mary Ward
(Gerald), Cheryl Douthwright (Peter); several nieces and
nephews.
Randall was a carpenter by trade. He was an avid snowmobiler
and was always meeting and making new friends while on the trails. He
loved his family and especially loved being papa to his five
grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Jacksonville Baptist Church,
433 Route 560, Jacksonville on Saturday, February 24th from 4 to 7
p.m. The funeral service will be on Sunday, February 25th at 2:00 p.m.
from the Jacksonville Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Page
officiating. The interment will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Northampton
on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. If so desired,
donations can be made to the Northern Lights Trail Blazers Club.
