Ralph Kropf, age 97, formerly of Wellesley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at River Gardens Retirement Residence, Stratford. Born in Mornington Township, son of the late Alvin and Lavina (Kipfer) Kropf. Predeceased by his loving wife Esther (Roes) Kropf November 26, 2016, after 69 years of marriage. Loving father of Karen (Robert) Schultz, Larry, Bruce (Donelda) and Terry Lynn (Bruce) Gropp. Cherished Grandpa of Julie White (Brad Rickert), Mark (Henrietta) Schultz, Stephanie (Mark) Kearsey, Samantha (Mark) King, Amanda (Eric) Wagler Anthony Kropf, Eric Kropf. Dear great Grandpa of Alexa and Dawson White, Zach and Chloe Schultz, Quinn, Koen and Saige Kearsey, Addyson and Gavyn King, Miles and Shea Wagler. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Eli and Nancy (Nafziger) Roes, grandson Andrew Kropf, a sister Margaret (Albert) Henning, his brothers Stanley (Jean) Kropf and Delford Kropf and his brothers and sisters-in-law Alvin (Marie) Roes, Laura (Alfred) Kipfer, Emma Steckley (Raymond Gerber, Amos Steckley) and David (Mildred)Roes. Visitation will be held at Poole Mennonite Church, 6475 Road 121, Poole on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with pastor Fred Redekop officiating. Interment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to SickKids Hospital Toronto, Poole Mennonite Church or a charity of one’s choice through the funeral home.
