It is with great sadness that the family of Raisa Wolfson announces her passing on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in her one hundred and first year. A truly remarkable woman, who had to endure a lot in her long life, but her strength and positivity allowed her to make the best of it. Nothing mattered to Raisa more than her family, Ella and Michael Estrin, Lucya and the late Misha Wolfson, her grandchildren, Masha and Adam, Lenny, and Meaghan, and her great-grandchildren, Sophie, Mila, Rebecca, and Riley. Predeceased by her siblings. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, January 18 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her daughter’s home, Thursday following burial until 9:00 p.m., Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal, (514) 369-0800.
Beautiful memories of Raisa will keep her alive forever. She will always be a great example to all of us.
