It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of R. Dean Coulthard at his home in London on Monday, March 4, 2024 in his 64th year. He was greatly loved and now sadly missed by his partner, Janice Davis, mother, Jeanne Coulthard (McDonald), sister Lori, and brother Greg (Mireille Cyr). Predeceased by his father Robert. Dean will be fondly remembered by the many people whose lives he touched. He found his niche in Old South with his partner, Janice. He joyfully immersed himself in the close knit Wortley community, actively participating in local events and opportunities while developing many friendships. He took great pride in his agricultural roots, and McDonald/Coulthard heritage. Often reminiscing about his family’s long connection to Southwest Middle. Dean’s daily acts of kindness, clearly demonstrated his thoughtfulness and love for his family: sharing his time with loved ones, maintaining every vehicle in the Coulthard fleet, taking on all aspects for the upkeep of the outside of McKenzie Manor and grooming Millie our Bichon Frise etc. He took to retirement like a duck to water: developing his photography skills, staying abreast of current events, tracking weather conditions and texting the forecast to ensure we all knew enough to stay out of the rain and unconditionally loving our 12 pound Bichon Frise. A Life well Lived…..but gone too soon.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
