It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro Carducci on August 25, 2023, at the age of 86 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Lovingly cherished by his wife of 66 years, Antonietta and their children Anna Kaduk (Craig), Sam (Nancy) and Nick (Cecilia). Nonno will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Stephanie Bennett (Kevin), Jonathan Kaduk (Jessica), Jessica Page (Matthew), Samantha Fritz (Michael), Peter Carducci (Jessica Dutton), Anthony Carducci, and 8 of his precious great grandchildren. Brother of the late Tomaso (Filomena) and Michele (Mirella). Brother-in-law of the late Annina and Guerrino Piedimonte, Raffaela Minicucci (late Giuseppe), Angelo Venditti (Anna-Marie) and Fred Venditti (Sharon). Pietro will also be missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Pietro was a dedicated employee of the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. His leisure time was filled with many hours making wine and soppressata, tending to his garden, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He loved to play bocce with his many friends at the Lisgar Bocce Association where he served as Vice President for 25 years. His most cherished times, however, were the ones spent with his family most often lending us all a helping hand. His generosity of spirit will live in all our hearts forever.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton). A Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 30th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Bay Gardens. A Service will take place on Thursday August 31st beginning at 10am at St. Margaret Mary Church 20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery on 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.ca) would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.BayGardens.ca.
