JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Phyllis Stagg Hicks was born to Stewart & Priscilla Stagg on September 23rd, 1925. She devoted herself to the love of her life, her husband, Newman (predeceased) and to her family.
They were married June 12, 1948, and together they raised 10 children, 9 of them were their own but 1 was their grandson which they raised as their own son.
Clarice (Doug) Robbins, Margaret Hicks, Clayton Hicks (predeceased), Calvin (Angie) Street, Calvin (Marlyn) Hicks, Gary (Sherry) Hicks, Bonnie (Ross) Little(Predeceased), Peggy, Denice (Jim) Jones, and Major Dolores (Major Neil) Abbott.
There are 14 grandchildren,18 great children that she loves dearly. She had a big circle of nieces and nephews, and friends.
Mom gave her life to Jesus on October 3rd, 1982 and she proudly shared her Faith with others.
She love attending church, and would not miss it. Our mom loved to share her love for Jesus.
Mom had number of things that she loved to do, knitting, cooking, baking and chatting with family on the phone.
Mom spent 14 years at the Golden Heights Manor.

Visitation will be held at Bonavista Salvation Army Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday 2-4, 7-9.
Celebration of Phyllis’ Life will be Thursday 2:00pm at The Salvation Army, interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery.
Phyllis was Predeceased by brother Don Stagg, and sisters Pearl Rolls, & Margaret Tremblett.
