Phyllis (Bolt) Hackett, a woman who loved family, the company of friends and a good game of cards. Passed peacefully away at Burin Health Care Centre on January 9th, 2023, at the age of 67. Surrounded by the love of her family, to be with her son Lloyd who died in 2003 and those who have gone before her. Our hearts are at peace knowing they are united once again.
She remembered in heart during her life, those that had predeceased her including her son Lloyd, parents Charles and Myrtle Bolt, Jerome and Catherine Hackett, brother and sister in-laws Charlie and Mary Hackett, Pearl and Kevin Johnston, Clarence and Marg Hackett, nephew Lorne Levhey and niece Siobhan Shepard.
She leaves to mourn in sadness, but with great thanks for all that he has done, her loving Husband Manuel, her children Scott (Natasha), Cyndi, and her Baby Christopher (Janice Nash).
Her great love and joy were her grandchildren, Kyle, Dale, Allison, Carter, Emma, Isabella and Marshall. She will be remembered with love and affection by all of them as a mother and grandmother who loved them all dearly. Her strong willed character, passion for TV bingo, cards and love for her family and friends will transcend the generations.
Phyllis is also survived by her many siblings, family and extended family. Brothers, Lloyd Bolt (Mary), Hubert Bolt (Karen) and Dean Bolt. Sisters, Velma King (Steve), Joan Banfield (Howard), Wanda Hack (Mike), Elsie Bolt (Jerry Drake). Brother in-laws Jerome Hackett (Mary Frances) and Bill Hackett. Sister in-laws Daphne Hackett and Marjorie Hynes (George). Former son-in-law Duane Campbell. A large number of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A special Thank You to a very special lady who has been by her side for the past seven months, Debbie Whittle. We cannot thank you enough and could never show how much we appreciate all that you have done for Mom. Your patience, care and love have filled our hearts knowing that she was always taken care of. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
