Obituary
Malone, Phillip Allan – 90, of Forbes Point, passed away peacefully at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 20, 2023. Born in Wood’s Harbour on July 2, 1932 to Emerson and Ester Malone; he was the middle child of three sons. Phillip will be dearly missed and is survived by his partner, Marjorie Ross; sibling, Harvey Malone; children, Lainie (Malcolm) D’Eon and Herbert (Sheila) Malone; step children, Carla Nickerson, Aubrey (Susie) Crowell, Rodney Crowell, Perry (Della) Crowell and Penny (Carl) Boudreau; 3 grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Phillip was predeceased by his wife, Belle Malone; brother, Emerson (Bud) Malone, step daughter, Sandra (Ward) Brannen and step son, Brian (Norma) Crowell. A special thanks to the staff at the Yarmouth Hospital for their loving care and support in his final days. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, from 6-8 pm at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, at 2:00 pm from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Jason Parker officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Wood’s Harbour Community Centre or any charity of choice.
