(December 22, 1951 – August 1, 2023)
It is with the heaviest of hearts that our hero, Peter, passed away after a long fight. He was a wonderful and loving husband to Deb (nee Howe) of 51 years, and one of the most caring and amazing fathers to Kylie (Scott) & Jesse. The Greatest Papa to Zak, Amelia, Carter and Charleigh. Dear son of the late Peter and Elena Pukay. Loving Brother to Bill (Betty), Dorothy (the late Gary), Greg (Jean) and Vic (Dar). Brother-in-law to the late Karl, the late Gerry, Jayne (Frank) and Lisa (Roland). Son-in-law to the late Mary Howe. Many nieces, nephews, & cousins are going to miss his practical jokes, his pranks, tying socks in knots, as one of many things every kid will remember. He fought with dignity and strength, but the big guy turned out the lights, and locked the door for the last time. He will be greatly missed, along with the many front porch laughs we had with his best friends Tom & June Prieur. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life to be held at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
