Peacefully at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved Husband of Sandra (Sandy) Coburn (2015). Cherished father of Christopher Parkinson and his wife Tina Andersen-Parkinson (2015) and Lesley Warren and her husband Jon. Dearest Grandfather of Sophie, Sarah, Gunner (2015) and Benjamin (2015). Loving brother of Phillip Parkinson and Patricia Parkinson. Remembered by Sandy’s family Janet Dunster (Wayne), Joan Dowdall (Gord), Lisa Speirs (Brad-2016), Cliff Coburn (Ruth-2016) and Keith Coburn (Jean). Peter will be greatly missed by other relatives, many friends, and the community.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Monday April 15th, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Orangeville Rotary Foundation, Bethell Hospice Foundation, Salvation Army or the Orangeville Food Bank.
A tree will be planted in memory of Peter in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
