Peter Charles Baker
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Baker
surrounded by the love of family at his home on Sunday August 18, 2024 at the
age of 77. Beloved husband of 22 years to Hyacinth (née Adassa). Much loved
father of David Baker (Teresa), Sarah Baker (Neil) and Beth Ann Moorhead (Mark).
Step father of Clance Lalor (Shereine), Jennifer Spence (Cyril), Sharon Lalor and Mark
Foster (Jessamyn). Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 5 great
grandchildren. Dear brother of John Baker in Nova Scotia. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his best friend Ron Hartman and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Monday August
26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in our chapel on Tuesday
August 27 at 11:00 am followed by interment at the Gananoque cemetery. As
expressions of sympathy donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be
appreciated by the family.
Peter’s children would like to invite family and friends after service at 268 North Street for a back yard celebration for their father.
