Paul Emberlin
Passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer on August 31, 2023. Born in Lucknow on March 8, 1943, Paul Frederick Emberlin of Toronto was in his 81st year.
Beloved husband for 58 years of Jane Emberlin (née Finlayson). Loved brother of Roy (Betty) Emberlin of Goderich, Wendy (Ken) Gardner of Point Clark, John Emberlin of Goderich, Joy (Lou) Jurjens of Lucknow and Mary (Rick) McGlynn of Bayfield. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara Rogerson of Toronto, Rod (Jeanie) Finlayson of Sarnia, Judy Finlayson of Walkerton, Alan Finlayson (Gerry Pitts) of Toronto, Carol Finlayson (John Balch) of London, Ian (Christina) Finlayson of Cobble Hill, BC, Duncan (Laura) Finlayson of Port Elgin and Ken Finlayson (Susan Clothier) of Burlington. Paul is also greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Fred and Barb Emberlin, in-laws Gordon and Dorothy Finlayson, brothers Doug (Dorothy) Emberlin and Denny (Marie) Emberlin, sister Ruth Emberlin, and by his brother-in-law Bill Finlayson.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at Lochalsh Cemetery, 35293 Amberley Road, Lucknow, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 1 p.m.
