Paul passed away at Selkirk Senior Village on Aug.24th, 2023. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife May of 65 years; son, Nelson (Daisy); grand daughters, Amanda and Kimberly; stepmother, Yuen Yee; siblings, Loretta and William (Gerri); sisters-in-law, Mary, Dorothy and Dawn and many nieces and nephews and their families. He is predeceased by his daughter, Paula; siblings, George (Lillian), Noreen (Wallace), James (Beverly), Wilfred and Alfred and brother-in-law Ken.
Paul was born and raised in Victoria where he lived all his life. He worked for 39 years at the BCFP sawmill before it closed in 1989. Paul and May traveled to many faraway places and enjoyed cruising with friends and relatives. He loved to bowl, fish, ballroom dance and golf. Paul spent much of his time tending to his lawn and backyard garden.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank his family doctor, Dr. Benjamin How, urologist, Dr. Jeffery McCracken, attending physician, Dr. Harley Syyong and the staff at Selkirk Seniors Village (Gladstone and Bolton) for the kindness, care and support that they showed Paul.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
