Left this world to reunite with his loving wife Sunday afternoon on the 6th day of August 2023.
Patrick was outside in the garden with his family by his side, music and dominos being played as he snuck off to meet his maker and reunite with his family and friends. The son of Iris May Thorpe and Edgar Leopold Campbell of Boscobel St. Mary, Jamaica. Patrick came into this world in his family home somewhere between his celebrated birthday November 25, 1934 and his legal Birthday April 25, 1935.
Patrick, Uncle Pat, Sir Cam, Elias, The Godfather, Brother Campbell, Daddy, Grandpa, Great Grandpa or Big Poppa … just not late for dinner. Survived by his children Dave (Lorna) Campbell of Jamaica, Elias Campbell (Corinne Impey), and Abigail Campbell. Grandfather to Codi Anne (Romain) Baker, Raheem Campbell, Teddeo Haber, Aryanna Haber, Phoenix Haber, and Anderson Campbell. Great grandfather to Robyn Baker, Irie Baker and the little one on the way.
Patrick is survived by his older brother Raymond Campbell of Jamaica, sister Emily Johnson of Vancouver, and Ciciele Hamilton of England.
Pre-deceased by his sisters Cynthia, Susie, Mina, Mint, Audrey and Dezirine, brothers Leopold, Melvin, and parents.
In-laws survived by Molly aka Adma Campbell, Carman Campbell, Carlton Dillon, Mary (James) MacDougall, Elaine (Al) Becker, Sally (Dave) Imrie, and Francis Thurston.
Pre-deceased by in-laws – Ned Tarby, and Bob Thurston.
Patrick will be missed and prayed for by his loving family in Jamaica and around the world, consisting of many, many, nieces, nephews, cousins one remaining Aunt Rini of the USA as well as friends and extended family.
There will be a visitation at the Mackey Funeral home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday the 11th of August 2023, with a funeral service to be held at Dunsford United Church, 1981 Sturgeon Rd. Dunsford on Saturday the 12th of August 2023 at 11 am. Internment to follow at Dunsford Cemetery.
