1939-2024
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday September
17th, 2024, of Patricia «Trishie»
FitzPatrick; beloved daughter of the late William and Ada
FitzPatrick.
Patricia is survived by her sisters Ada McDonald and Margaret
FitzPatrick; and sisters-in-law Marg (Power) and Pat (Callaghan).
Patricia was predeceased by her sisters Mary Watts; Charlotte
FitzPatrick; and Anne Ferlatte as well as her brothers John, William,
Maurice and Kenny. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law
Gordon Watts and Claude Ferlatte; and sisters-in-law Stella (Hughes)
and Jenny (Carmichael).
Trishie will be fondly remembered by many for her long
teaching career at Grand Tracadie and Dunstaffnage Consolidated
schools; her love of singing, and her great sense of humour. She was a
generous and caring aunt and grand aunt to many nieces, nephews,
grandnieces and grandnephews.
Resting at the Hennessey-Cutcliffe Funeral Home, from where
visiting hours will be held on Sunday September
22nd, 2024, from 4-7 pm.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure’s
Roman Catholic Church, Tracadie Cross, on Monday September
23rd, 2024, at 10:30 am. Interment will be held
at St. Bonaventures Roman Catholic Cemetery following the
mass.
