It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Baba, Paraskovia “Peggy” Lenc, who went to her heavenly home on September 11, 2024, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 102. Predeceased by her husband, Jozef Lenc, with whom she shared 35 years. Devoted Mama of Peter Lenc (Mary), Vera Lenc (Don Farquharson), Helen Flynn, and predeceased by Mary Szabo. Adored Baba of Michael Lenc, Christina Peacock (Chris), Kyle Flynn (Daniela), Kori Flynn (Jeremy), Kaileigh Flynn, Krista Flynn (Chase), Dale Farquharson, Stephanie Farquharson, Sean Allman, and Stephan Farquharson. Loving great-grandmother to Jeffrey, Emmalyn, Xander, Kathryn, Jake, and Nate. Fondly remembered by many family and friends.
Paraskovia Lenc, a century’s grace, the heart of our family, love’s enduring embrace. Ukrainian roots that forever remain, a matriarch’s love that will always sustain.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 12 to 2pm. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2pm, with cremation to follow. A private family interment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the City of Niagara Falls Tree Programs – Environmental Action Memorial Fund.
