Orlando Iaconetti, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, at the age of 82. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be forever cherished by his family and all who knew him.
Orlando was born in Italy, where he cultivated a deep appreciation for family values and hard work from a young age. After immigrating to Canada, he embarked on a journey marked by dedication and perseverance. Throughout his life, Orlando embodied unwavering devotion and passion for his loved ones.
Orlando will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Carmela, whom was the love of his life and cherished beyond measure. He was the proud father of Angela (Joe) and Tony (Costanza), who carry on his legacy of integrity and compassion. Orlando was a source of endless joy and guidance to his grandchildren, Melissa (Alessandro), John (Isabella), Victoria, and Vanessa, who adored their Nonno dearly.
Orlando was preceded in death by his siblings Natale and Agostino. He is survived by his siblings Raffaela, Ida, Silvio, and Anna, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and unbreakable bonds.
A man of strong faith and generosity, Orlando will be remembered for his warm smile and his ability to find humor and joy in every situation. His presence brought comfort and his wisdom was sought after by many.
Orlando’s life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. He touched the lives of countless individuals and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us all.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road, 905.850.9500). Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on, Friday, July 26, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. and conducted at St. Immaculate Conception Parish (300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge, On..). Immediately following Orlando’s Mass an Entombment Service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, On.)
