Oliane Van Dyke (née Legault) of Alexandria passed peacefully on Sunday August 27, 2023 at the Palace LTC; age 93. Beloved wife of the late Roy Van Dyke, and formerly married to (late) Léo Massie. Loving mother of Michel Massie of Ottawa, Diane Massie of London Ontario and Luc Massie of Kanata. Cherished grandmother of Patrick Massie (Caroline) and Jonelle Massie. Predeceased by her parents Florimond and Nélida Legault (née Meilleur), and by her brothers and sisters: Irène Rozon, Lucienne Lamarche, Wilfrid “Ti-Lou” Legault, Benoit Legault, Fernande Longpré and Bruno Legault. Many thanks to management and staff at The Palace Long Term Care where she spent her last year, and several years previously at Château Glengarry. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 9:30 until 10:45 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Oliane a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
